There are plenty of beautiful walks to enjoy in Port Appin and surrounding areas, for the more adventurous walker "Ben Nevis" and "Glencoe" are both approximately a forty minute drive from the village.
Some visitors enjoy hiring a bicycle locally and taking a short ferry crossing on the ferry to the Isle of Lismore. You can cycle right around the Island and take in the breathtaking scenery.
Sea Kayaking has become very popular in this area.
There is a local horse riding centre two miles from Bioran Caravan Park and the "Sea Life" centre which is about ten miles away.
